Squisito

Squisito is a predominantly Italian restaurant, with everything freshly made in-house. They serve delicious fresh pasta and excellent Neapolitan dishes, all beautifully presented and prepared in a warm, friendly atmosphere. The cocktails are also very good. It’s usually busy, so booking is essential.

PUBS

The Lewes Arms

Our favourite Pub, The Lewes Arms. Just as a Pub should be - good beer, conversation, a friendly crowd, cosy and no fruit machines or TV. Famed for its fine food and drink, enormous charm and character. This lovely pub is more than 220 years old and is tucked away just off the high street.

Symposium Wine Emporium

A great place to enjoy a glass of wine or share a bottle. There is a large selection of wines to choose from. While there is a focus on Italy, there are lots of exciting wines to discover including some gems from obscure vineyards.

There is a corkage policy (Retail Price + £12/bottle) which offers a great value way to enjoy wine by the bottle, but if you’re popping in for a quick drink, we’re sure you’ll find something to enjoy on our ever-changing selection of wines by the glass.

White Hart Hotel

The White Hart Hotel. At last, a venue that fits Lewes and provides a great meeting place for friends and family. Either just a couple of drinks in the great new bar and lounge, of stay for lunch/dinner in the restaurant and enjoy the marvellous view of the South Downs.
